Ken Rolston
Expertise: Artist
Ken grew up in the hills on the outskirts of a small town in the interior of British Columbia. It was before the internet, cell phones, and even out of range of the local cable companies. The television could only pick up two channels, and as the third youngest of eleven kids it was never his choice which one to watch. So Ken's youth was spent drawing, reading or playing outside with his brothers. During those early years the creek, the barn, the tree house, the mountains behind the property is where Ken's imagination was fostered.
Throughout Ken's younger years, he was always surrounded by children, from a seemingly never ending run of nieces and nephews to the kids that his mother looked after in her daycare, children have always been part of his life. As a result, "Uncle Ken" or "Uncle Big Baboon" has been entertaining kids with his art for over twenty years.
