What child doesn't like a delicious Banana Bread treat? Well thanks to Barkley, we have a great banana bread recipe to share with you and your family.

Barkley’s No Blender Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1 1/2 cups of flour
  • 1/3 cup of butter
  • 3/4 cup of white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 2 tsp of vanilla
  • small pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp of peanut butter chips

Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees farenheit
  2. Grease a bread pan with butter
  3. Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl
  4. Add the butter and mix together
  5. Add the following and mix:
    • Sugar
    • Egg (beaten)
    • Vanilla
  6. Add the baking soda and salt and mix
  7. Add the flour and peanut butter chips and mix thoroughly
  8. Pour contents into the greased bread pan
  9. Bake for about an hour (stick a fork in the middle to test doneness)
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving
